The populations of reptiles and amphibians in the Molonglo River gorge and Ginninderra Creek area are likely to similar to the populations in the region as a whole.

John Wombey, formerly with CSIRO Division of Wildlife and Ecology lists fifteen species of frogs and toads as being possible in the region.

Eastern snake-necked turtle

Also thirty six species of skinks, lizards, dragons and monitors are identified as being possible within the region along with eight species of snake. The Eastern snake-necked turtle is common near all the creeks and rivers (CSIRO List of Australian Vertebrates, 1998 by M Stanger, M Clayton, R Schodde, J Wombey and I Mason).
