Thank you for your letter of 30 September 2015 about the need for draft variation 351 to be referred to the Assembly's Standing Committee on Planning, Environment and Territory & Municipal Services for inquiry.

I wrote to the Minister for Planning on 13 August 2015 urging such a referral and Mr Rattenbury, as then acting Minister, responded in September 2015. Copies of the two letters are attached for information.

Here are the public comments for Draft Variation 351 to the Territory Plan copied from the ACT's Environment and Planning Directorate. 

We have sent two submissions, one for NCP DA85 and one for TP DV351, plus a ‘History of the Ginninderra Falls Association’ and a ‘Park Proposal Murrumbidgee/Ginninderra’ to accompany both submissions.

Draft Variation 351 to the Territory Plan (DV351) proposes to rezone area immediately west of the suburbs of Holt and Macgregor for future urban development.

Draft Amendment 85 - West Belconnen Urban Development

DA85 is in response to a request received from the Riverview Group, acting on behalf of the ACT Government's Land Development Agency (LDA). The LDA has appointed Riverview Projects (ACT) Pty Ltd to manage the project.
